11. Implications and applications

This week I started brainstorming towards my final project idea and had a look back at every week and assignment and what I enjoy doing the most and what inspires me and motivates me as an artist!

This is week is super important because we are asked to:

-Document the concept, sketches, references also to artistic and scientific publications

-Create an Ultra-personalised product service systems (UPPSS) for your final project

-Map the potential stakeholders

-Explore personalisation at all the different levels

-EXTRA POINT : Interview your potential users/ target group about your concept, quantify results

OPEN SOURCE BODY

SURVEY/INTERVIEWS/QUANTIFYING

Diagram a possible survey to carry out to different audiences (a simple google forms) send it soon, to then collect potential data for your project!

POTENTIAL DATA FOR THE PROJECT

What sort of data would be important for my project?

I decided to make :

One survey for EXPERTS/HACKER COMMUNITY (bio artists, activists, designers, biohackers, scholars)and one survey for my FUTURE AUDIENCE (everyday people, people who want to experiment with bodily materials, fluids etc).

WHY?!

My project is all about making your own TOOLS AND PROCESSES for body exploration and DIY Biology Through these we can CULTIVATE, CRAFT, GROW AND DESIGN self-care regiments and medical and health/care technologies. These explorations and development of self care could be a bit more traditional and analog or more high tech or a combination of both. I would assume if we take different members of the audience, different ages and ethnicities or cultural backgrounds we would see that the perception of what is health/care or care in a greater senses varies.

I want to interview future AUDIENCES, a future audience [artists, people that seek bodily autonomy and new ways of cultivating, crafting designing health/care] that perhaps can make this a part of their art practice and lifestyle.

>These are some thoughts I had while brainstorming

WHAT IS YOUR BODY EXPERIENCE ? WHAT IS YOUR INTERACTION WITH BOFILY FLUIDS/ WITH OTHER PEOPLES EXPERIENCES?

TAKE EXPERIENCE AND READDRESS IT TO BECOME a sensory dining experience-> sensory exploration

RE INTERPRET ALL DATA TO CREATE THE JOURNEY

WHAT IS IT LIKE to...?

EXPLAINED- PEOPLES EXPERIENCE for example GOING TO THE LOO

How to create an intimate lab experience

Just a quick note:

I did not make a survey for this stage of the final project due to the fact that my project is not a product. As you will see in the following pages my project is an experience, a manifesto, a way of life and working in the biological arts. For these 3 months I desined my toolkit and fabricated everything but in the future I would like to turn this project from a DIY project to a DO-IT-TOGETHER or DOING-IT-WITH-OTHERS concept where I invite citizens to make their own biotech and talk about hormones, bodily fluids and other health care technologies. For that stage I will make a survey and start to take the project to a more anthropological dimension!
